Checklists are not just for Adults
Whether in Emergency communications (#SMEM) or Information Technology management, I am a big advocate of clear communications via policy, procedure, tasks and checklists (The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right). The other morning I was watching the Disney channel with my kids. They were watching a show called Special Agent Oso. It is about a special agent teddy bear who helps kids learn how to accomplish every day tasks with a checklist. They have "three simple steps", checked-off one at a time, complete with boxes and check marks). This show is teaching a new generation the usefulness of checklists.
